Background of design, how to communicate designs through drawing, how to analyze existing products.
The use of different media to produce work.
To understand why we need packaging and how it can be reduced, be able to cut a screw thread internally and externally
Recycling issues and consequences.

Why do products need to be marketed, what materials will they use and why, how smart materials work
How do materials and smart materials affect the environment and society
