Customer Service Representative Department: Administration Reports To: General Manager Hours: 10-20 hours/week Paid: Hourly Responsibilities:  Greet customers on the phone and in person, while directing phone calls and walk-ins.  Provide display and classified advertising information to call-in and walk-in customers.  Manage scheduling and placement of classified line ads.  Manage scheduling and placement of national advertising.  Measure newspaper content to determine advertising percentage.  Provide tearsheets to advertisers.  Perform additional reception duties (mail, messages, supplies, etc.).  Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:  Must be able to understand and speak English clearly.  Must be detail-oriented and possess good organization skills.  Must be highly motivated and possess great interpersonal skills.  Must be adept at computer data entry.  Must be a University of Minnesota student.  Previous customer service experience is desired, but not required. Must be currently-enrolled University of Minnesota student with at least two semesters remaining before graduation. This is an entry-level position intended to prepare students to move up to management and leadership roles.
