DIRECTIONS 160 STEP #1.

Place the clamping brackets on front suspension arms with the larger hole to the rear. Loosely secure with bolts. Move clamp as far out as possible to where arm widens at the strut connection. Tighten nuts.

STEP #2.

Place rubber bar bushings on the bar mid-section near bends and bolt bar bracket to mounting bracket so as to hold the rubber bushings. Position so that the free side of mounting bracket is up and outboard.

STEP #3.

Tie the bar up with string in position so it passes under the oil pan. Assemble endlinks as illustrated so that they connect the clamping bracket.

STEP #4.

Adjust bar so that it passes about 1/2" below the oil pan. The mounting brackets should be horizontal with the vertical side against the inboard side of the frame. End-links should be leaning slightly forward and outboard so the bushings align. On the V-6, this will place the bar mounting bracket just forward of the exhaust resonator.

STEP #5.

Note the position of mounting bracket against frame, then transfer mounting bracket to outboard side of frame (in the wheel well) and mark for drilling. Drill holes with 3/8" bit through both sides of frame. Return bracket to correct location on inboard side of frame and bolt into place. Place large washers under the heads of the bolts in the wheel well.

STEP #6.

Check that the fuel line and speedometer cable are clear of bar arm throughout the suspension travel. Tape in place if needed. Have someone bounce car so you may check all clearances. Check all fastenings for suitable tightness. Do not over tighten nuts on end-links or on bolts through the frame structure. Test drive the car so to accustom yourself to its new handling. As we cannot supervise your installation or driving, we cannot be responsible for more than the cost of the kit. HARDWARE 2 RH 013 2 RH 507 2 RH 059 12 RH 304 4 RH 214
