1. Scope of work: You are required to provide following type of Vehicles for transportation of project cargo from various places to our plant site: TATA ACE (LCV) upto 0.80 MT Standard Dimensions : 6ft L x 4ft W x 4ft Ht. TATA 407 (LCV) upto 2MT Standard Dimensions : 10ft L x 5.9ft W x 6ft Ht TATA 909 (LPT) upto 2MT Standard Dimensions : 16.9ft L x 6ft W x 6.9ft Ht MCV: Full Truck load upto 5 M.T. Standard Dimensions : 16ft L x 6ft W x 7ft Ht. NORMAL TRUCK: Full Truck load upto 9 M.T. Standard Dimensions : 19ft L x 7 ft W x 7ft Ht. OPEN BODY TRUCK : Full Truck load upto 9 M.T. weight Standard Dimensions: 20ft. L x 8ft W x 8ft Ht. TAURUS : Full Truck load upto 16 M.T. weight Standard Dimensions : 22ft. L x 7ft W x 7ft Ht. OPEN BODY TAURUS : Full Truck load upto 16 M.T. weight Standard Dimensions : 24ft. L x 8ft W x 7ft Ht.
40FT TRAILER: Full Truck load upto 20 M.T. weight Standard Dimensions : 40ft. L x 8ft W x 7ft Ht. 40FT TRAILER: Full Truck load upto 25 M.T. weight Standard Dimensions: 40ft. L x 8ft W x 7ft Ht. 2. Price: Please see Bid Annexure 3. Loading/unloading will be done by us, unless otherwise specified. Loading/unloading charges in case incurred at any locations, this should be shown separately in freight bills supported with receipts. Unloading /loading charges towards LTL movements at hub need to be factored in by the bidder. 4. The carrier should take adequate care and precaution to provide the right quality of trucks for loading the metal boxes. 5. Transit time norms for various routes is enclosed in the Bid annexure as discussed with you. You will have to ensure that the trucks reach the destination within the stipulated transit time. If any change in transit time from the agreed transit time shall be agreed mutually with GOODPACK by the carrier with an email approval. 6. The rates to be quoted considering prevailing diesel price however rebates in freight rates would be passed to us if the diesel price goes below 7%. 7. The contracted rates are INCLUSIVE OF ALL CHARGES.: 8. Gujarat RTO expenses will not be applicable in our case as the dimensions of the cargo are within permissible height limits and transporter need to ensure to place suitable vehicle as specified above 9. Rates are excluding Service Tax and the same will be grossed up and paid by us. 10. In transit insurance to be taken care by Bidder. 11. Bidder has to provide at least 1 day free at the loading and unloading site each. GOODPACK reserves the right to review the claim put up by bidder towards detention (if any) 12. Placement of trucks It will be entirely bidder’s responsibility to take delivery of goods/materials as soon as the same is ready for dispatch at our suppliers/sub-suppliers works, on our advice. After intimation from us, bidder to plan type of vehicle based on information of package already given by us. Any change in size of package
involving change in vehicle has to be informed to us over email. Bidder is required to place the vehicle required for transportation of the goods within 24 hrs of issuance of ITR. In the event of non-placement of the vehicle, we shall be at liberty to engage vehicle from any other transporter and the excess cost/freight so incurred by us will be deducted/debited to your freight bill. 13. Payment will be 45 days from the date of submission of correct invoice along with all supporting documents. 14. Bill Submission will be at our Mumbai office. All bills to be submitted along with original POD. In case of any query, date of submission will be considered post resolution of the queries. 15. Bidder to share tracking of in transit trucks by 1100 hrs every day as per below format. LR No.

16. You should nominate one person from your end, who will co-ordinate with supplier and if required to be co-ordinate with us. 17. Transshipment & Transit Risks: No transshipment shall be allowed enroute to site except in the case of LTL consignments. In case transshipment is required, prior approval shall be taken from us In the event of any break down of the vehicles enroute; you will immediately inform us the number of transshipped vehicle to avoid any confusion at a later stage. We reserve the right not to consider your bills for FTL in absence of Truck Number and weight on the LR and information regarding transshipment if any is not informed to us in advance. 18. Any delay in carrying consignment to destination beyond the agreed transit time has to be promptly reported either through MIS/email. 19. Stacking norms The stacking in the truck will be done by the carrier. Carrier will ensure that stacking norms are not violated even while stocks are in transit.
20. Count of 4th doors Carrier at the time of pick up, physically need to tally the 4th doors (removable door) with the number of boxes. In case of visible damage/shortage, necessary intimation shall be given to us by email/fax immediately after it is observed. 21. Overloading & clubbing: No carrier can overload the trucks beyond its certified capacity, Except in the case of LTL, carriers are not allowed to club loads of multiple trucks into one truck. Clubbing of other company material with Goodpack stocks is strictly prohibited. Suitable action would be taken against carriers who are found overloading trucks, clubbing and carrying other company stocks with Goodpack stocks. The action taken in this regard by the company shall stand final. 22. Road Permits will have to be invariably collected by the carrier before the truck leaves the Vendor’s location/factory/unit/carriers agent’s office. 23. No truck should leave commence transit without valid Goodpack system generated Inventory Transfer request (ITR no), in case, such incidents are reported carrier would not be paid in full for such movements and will be served notice. 24. The Company reserves the right to despatch the goods by any available mode of transport at its discretion. 25.

Any penalty imposed by the Sales Tax Authorities for non-compliance of any applicable rules/wrong documentation will be recovered from the respective carriers. It is the carriers’ responsibility to ensure that the necessary permit/sales tax forms are collected at the time of picking up the cargo. All legal dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court in Mumbai The relationship between the Company and Carrier shall be principal to principal basis and the Company shall not be liable for any act of omission and commission committed by Carrier in the course of business. During the tenure of this contract, if GOODPACK is not satisfied, based on
performance parameters including Lead Time, Quality of Delivery and MIS & wishes not to continue the Contract, it may be free to do so and may seek rectification of such deficiency in service by you within one month’s time by sending an intimation to you in writing. If you fail to provide satisfactory explanation or if such deficiencies in service are not rectified within the specified time, the Contract shall stand terminated without any Notice period and GOODPACK shall be at liberty to carry out any alternate arrangements. as it may deem necessary to restore normalcy in operation obligations. 29. The validity of the contract period would be from 01.11.2015 to 30.04.2016 and would continue beyond this period till the completion of next negotiation. 31.General: a) Bidder has to offer the rate as per annexure – price bid format. b) Price quoted must be valid for the entire scope of work from the bid closure date. c) Buyer reserves the right to reject any or all the quotes received at his discretion without assigning any reason whatsoever. 32. New Vendor Eligibility Established vendors with minimum 3 years of operations, and their ability to meet the tender requirement within the specified time. Complete vendor profile must be send through RFI and submitted along with the quote for vendor evaluation by us. Documentary evidence of business association with reputed customer must be submitted along with the RFI.
