QU Day Camp June 13–16, 2016 Grades: K–8
QU Father/Son Camp June 12, 2016 • 9 am - 4pm Grades K–12
The emphasis of the Quincy University Day Camp is to improve individual skills. Camp will focus on Fun and Fundamentals! Campers will work on shooting, individual offense, ball handling, rebounding, and defense. Team concepts will also be stressed. Campers will be broken into groups based on age to provide an appropriate learning environment. Along with skills and drills, campers will also listen to guest lecturers. Games will be played each day to implement the skills they learn into a game situation. Team and individual competitions will be held, giving the campers an opportunity to win prizes. Participants will also get the opportunity to interact with the QU Coaching staff and players.
This camp will provide a unique bonding experience between father and son. Camp will emphasize basketball fundamentals, games, and competitions that will be fun and exciting. Fathers will take an active role in the teaching process and participate in drills, stations, and games. Both father and son will enjoy the interaction with each other, the Hawks coaching staff, and players. Lunch will be included in tuition cost for the day.
