Day Sailing In the Solent aboard “Incisor”

Weekend Sailing Trips About the weekends Firstly   thank   you   for   choosing   Global   Sailing   for   your   sailing   Experience.   The   Solent   Day   sails   have   been  booked  by  groups  and  individuals  who  want  a  relaxing  or  exciting  day  on  the  water.  There  will   be  a  mix  of  people  that  have  sailed  before  and  people  that  have  never  been  on  a  boat  before.   When  you  arrive   at  the  marina   if  you  call  the  skippers  number  located  in  the  useful  info  section  and   he   will  advise  you  of  the  berth  number   we   are  at.  During  the   day   if  there   are  any   tasks  that   you  want   to   try   or   brush   up   on   please   just   advise   the   skipper,   all   of   our   skippers   enjoy   passing   on   their   knowledge.     Above  all  have  a  great  day.       Andy         Day  Sail     0930hrs:  Arrive  at  Town  Quay  Marina  to  meet  the  skipper  and  be  shown  to  your  yacht       0930hrs:  After  a  deck  and  crew  safety  briefing,  set  sail  for  a  morning  sailing  around  the  Solent     1300hrs:  Stop  for  lunch     1600hrs:  We  will  aim  to  be  alongside  at  Town  Quay  Marina  Southampton       What’s  included?   •

Pick  Up  Point     Town  Quay  Marina.     Town  Quay,     Southampton,     Hampshire  SO14  2EQ   023  8023  4397     http://www.townquay.com/Contact_Us/How_to_Find_us/   Contacts:     Yacht  &  Skipper  Info     Yacht  name:  Incisor   Skipper:  Derek  Saunders     Juan    (Administration)     07708  302946   [email protected]     Notes:     Crew   should   wear   deck   shoes   or   trainers.   If   wearing   trainers   they   should   not   have   black   soles   as   these   as   these  can  mark   the   decks.  They  should   dress   warmly  and  bring  sun   protection  as   even   when   it   is   cloudy   the   sun   can   burn.   As   space   is   limited   down   below   on   any   yacht   luggage   should   be   restricted   to   the  size  permitted  as  “hand  luggage”   on   aircraft   and  preferably  be   soft  without  wheels.   We   provide   wet   weather   gear   but   not   boots,   it   is   a   good   idea   to   bring   two   pairs   of   soft   shoes   and   do   not  forget  a  hat.   Please  note   that  certain   dates   may   leave  from   an   alternate   marina  such   as  Cowes,  but   you   will  be   advised  of  this  in  advance.
