This week’s tree of learning awards go to: Isla Wilson, Thomas Stanley, Hayden Hamilton and Rory Hill. This week’s team points winners were the leopards. A special mention must also go to Zsófi Almasi for her amazing subtraction work at home, Maisie Pownall for receiving a signed Gloucester rugby ball for her talents at Painswick rugby club, Sophie McGrellis for achieving her Grade 1 certificate in ballet with a merit, Oscar King’s super natural disaster story and Finn Price for his certificate in fencing. Well done to all of you! GLOUCESTERSHIRE DANCE FESTIVAL On Monday afternoon, the children from Dance Club wowed the audience, performing an amazing dance routine at the Everyman Theatre. Well done to Evie Causon, Emma O’Connell, Bella Jones, Saffron-Starr Nulty, Lyla Scobell, Amelia Andrews, Anya Doliczny, Lowenna Biscoe, Isla & Nika Wilson, Harvey Rosselli, Finn Price, Chloe Brunsdon, Seren Levay, Anoushka O’Gara & Maya Carter. They were ambassadors for our school as usual.

[email protected] DRAMA CLUB On Thursday evening all the children from drama club performed ‘Robina Hood’ at Stroud Subscription Rooms as part of the Stroud Schools Drama Festival. They put on a spectacular show, entertaining the audience with their acting, singing and dancing. A big well done goes to Ellie Grange, Finn Price, Evie Causon, Oscar Kelleher, Abigail Hendzel, Matilda Williams, Maisie Pownall, Ben Pownall, Gautam Nayak, Imogen Clarke, Bella Jones, Toby Holmes and Edie Hursthouse. ART WORKSHOP: POP UP PAPER CITY Wednesday 17th - Friday 19th February, 11am-4pm at Museum in the Park, Stroud. Come and help Alison Cockcroft and Emily Joy to imagine, design and create an amazing paper city! Using simple but stunning illustration techniques and paper engineering tricks you’ll be able to make a small cityscape to take home and also add a feature (or several) to our city as it grows. £1 Admission fee. TEACHER TASTER DAY Are you looking for a new career direction? We have attached a flyer with information on a teacher taster session at Marling school on Tuesday 8th March. The session will give you a unique opportunity to gain an insight into primary and secondary teaching.
