Approval of November Minutes Brenda Dahl made a motion to approve November minutes, Traci Pederson seconded; motion carries.
Treasurer’s Report Ron Spier made a motion to approve September report, Brenda Dahl seconded; motion carries. Julie Willert made a motion to approve October report, Ron Spier seconded; motion carries. Ron Spier made a motion to approve November report, Joel Bjerke seconded; motion carries.
Coach Guida’s Report Varsity won both games over the weekend in Moorhead and Bemidji.
Old Business November Tournament Recap – Up $4,100 from last year. We need more dedicated concessions managers and volunteers. February Tournament Update – Of 64 slots, we have 55 teams, only need 9 more teams. Varsity Programs & Advertising – Tammy contacted previous sponsors and some new sponsors. Program cost estimate is $2000+

o Varsity games halftime events – 12/17 Food shelf night. Ball toss closest to cone that night for $2/ball or 3/$5. Prize will be $25 gift card to Cub. Coaches for Cancer – Abby Deneen from Student Council attended. For RAVE week (Respect And Value Everyone), Student Council would like to work on Coaches for Cancer game. Suggestion made for point matching, i.e. donation amount /point. Abby would like us to consider donating to Hope Lodge in Rochester. Student Council will make a poster for night of game to recognize companies that contribute. Ron Spier made a motion to collaborate with Student Council on Coaches for Cancer, Joel Bjerke seconded; motion carries. Abby will work with Tammy and Ron. Abby will also try to attend the Girls’ Board meeting on Sunday night (Scott will mention it there as well.) Varsity Team Travel Gear – Brenda proposed that BBC purchase travel gear for JV/Varsity. Current travel gear is several years old and no longer in good condition. Tammy made a motion that we purchase travel gear (jacket, pants, backpack) for JV/Varsity for this year, Nick’s choice of the proposed options; not to exceed $4,000. Brenda seconded; motion carries. Tammy made a motion that we revisit travel gear 3 years prior to the season. Julie seconded; motion carries. Nick clarified that gear is issued to the team only to be worn/used for team travel or team and returned at end of season. Foam jerseys for Varsity team – John High volunteered to do foam jerseys, Dave Bean will get foam boards. Nick already gave last years’ boards to John. Dave Bean submitted request for coach bus for Duluth trip – School will pay $500, difference would be $700. Scott made a motion to pay for the overage for a coach bus and a post-game meal; Brenda seconded; motion carries. Banner picture – Julie suggested we get small reprints of the banner picture to hand out at a game; fans could get autographs from Varsity team members. Everyone agreed on idea; plan to hand out at 1/31 game. Nick will work with Lifetouch. Nick Guida motioned to adjourn the meeting; Julie Willert seconded the motion.
