It is mid- December and the Miners still have a tough month ahead. Having fell short to New Mexico, the Miners are now trying to bounce back and get a win against another rivalry. The Miners will host New Mexico State in the Don Haskins Center on December 15th. The Miners are 15-5 against NMSU since 2005-06, hoping to add another game to the win category. Each day the Miners are working to improve and get better. With so many new faces and such a young team, our key word this year is PATIENCE. On the current roster eight of the 12 active Student-athletes on the Miners’ roster are in their first year of playing games at the D1 level. Moreover, there are seven freshmen (six true, one redshirt). Therefore, we are definitely a group of sponges soaking up information daily and learning together as we go.
