Deloitte Open Team Competition Team competition rules •
A minimum of four team members is required and a team can field a maximum of ten members.
•
A mixed team must have a minimum of two men and two women.
•
All registered participants are eligible for the team competition; however, the race organization reserves the right to declare ineligible any participant it views as having an unfair advantage over the other teams.
•
Each team must have a unique name and roster.
•
Participants can only be members of one team.
•
Teams may only compete in one division.
•
All members of teams in the Corporate division must be full or part-time employees of the company.
•
Members of teams in the Deloitte Elite Club Competition are ineligible for participation in the Deloitte Open Team Competition.
•
Individuals in the elite wave and those in the wheelchair division are ineligible for participation in the Deloitte Open Team Competition.
•
Teams that have at least four members who can complete the 8K distance in less than 32:00 (men) or less than 37:00 (women) are strongly encouraged to enter the Competitive division.
•
Teams that have at least four members who will likely complete the 8K distance in 32:00 or more (men) or 37:00 or more (women) are strongly encouraged to enter the Recreational division.
•
The race organization reserves the right to refuse entry to any team with a name it deems offensive or inappropriate.
•
Awards are given to the top three scoring teams in each category in the Competitive division.
•
Awards are given to the top three scoring teams in each category in the Recreational division.
•
Awards are given to the top three scoring teams in each category in the Corporate division.
•
Winning teams are determined once the official results of the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle are announced.
