Cutting Directions WOF = Width of fabric from selvage to selvage. Label all pieces with the letters given in the cutting steps. Instructions refer to the letters to identify pieces. Remove as little as possible when trimming selvages from WOF strips. 23775 P - Pink Scribble • Cut (5) 2" x WOF strips; recut into (8) 2" x 14 ½" E strips and (8) 2" x 6 ½" D strips. • Cut (2) 1 ½" x WOF strips; recut into (8) 1 ½" x 3 ½" N strips and (16) 1 ½" M squares. • Cut (7) 1 ½" x WOF strips for V border.

Note: Use a ¼" seam allowance for all stitching. 1. To piece the Framed 1 blocks, select the green floral B, C, F, and G strips, the pink geometric D and E strips, and 5 cream floral A rectangles. 2. Sew a B strip to the short ends of the A rectangle and the C strips to the long sides. Press seams toward the strips. (Continue to press all seams toward each new set of strips.) Repeat with the D and E strips and then the F and G strips to complete (1) 16 ½" x 11 ½" Framed 1 block. Repeat to make 5 blocks total.
Framed Block 4 — Make 2
Framed 1 Block — Make 5 6. Repeat to make (2) 8 ½" x 11 ½" Framed 5 halfblocks selecting 2 B and 4 I cream texture strips, 2 D and 4 J yellow scribble strips, 2 F and 4 K green scribble strips, and 2 cream floral H squares. Stitch the B, D and F strips to only 1 edge of the H squares and I, J and K strips to the top and bottom. Framed 5 Half-Block — Make 2

Note: Refer to the quilt diagram as needed throughout the following steps. 1. Sew a Framed 2 block between 2 Framed 1 blocks to make row 1. Press seams toward the Framed 1 blocks. Repeat to make row 5.
Framed 6 Half-Block — Make 2
2. Join a Framed 5 half-block, Framed 4 block, Framed 3 block and Framed 6 half-block to make row 2. Press seams toward the 5 and 3 blocks. Repeat to make row 4. 3. Stitch a Framed 1 block between 2 Framed 2 blocks to make row 3. Press seams toward the Framed 1 block.
8. To piece 1 Corner block, select pink scribble and cream texture pieces as follows: 2 L and 4 M squares and 2 N, 1 O, 1 Q and 2 P strips.
4. Sew the 2" x WOF cream texture sashing and R border strips short ends together to make a long strip. Press seams to 1 side. Cut into (4) 48 ½" sashing strips and (2) 61 ½" R1 strips and (2) 51 ½" R2 strips.
9. Sew an M square to opposite sides of the L square. Press seams toward the M squares. Stitch an N strip to the long sides of the pieced strip to complete the 3 ½" x 3 ½" center unit. Press seams toward the N strips.
5. Join the block rows with the 4 sashing strips to complete the 48 ½" x 61 ½" quilt center. Press seams toward the sashing strips.
10. Sew an M square to 1 end of the O strip. Press seam toward the O strip. Stitch the pieced strip to the left edge of the center unit and a P strip to the right edge. Press seams toward the strips. Sew an M square and then an L square to 1 end of the remaining P strip. Press seams away from the M square. Stitch the pieced strip to the bottom of the center unit and the Q strip to the top to complete (1) 5 ½" x 5 ½" Corner block. Press seams toward the strips.
6. Sew the R1 strips to the long sides of the quilt center and the R2 strips to the top and bottom. Press seams toward the strips.
Corner Block — Make 4
8. Repeat step 7 with the 1 ½" x WOF yellow scribble T/X strips, cutting 2 each 71 ½" T1, 60 ½" T2, 83 ½" X1, and 72 ½" X2 strips. Stitch the T1 and T2 strips to the quilt center. Set aside X1 and X2 strips for step 11.
7. Stitch the 4" x WOF cream floral S strips short ends together to make a long strip. Press seams to 1 side. Cut into (2) 64½" S1 strips and (2) 58½" S2 strips. Sew the S1 strips to the long sides of the quilt center and the S2 strips to the top and bottom.
11. Repeat steps 8–10 to make 4 Corner blocks total. Quilt Assembly

9. Repeat step 7 with the 1 ½" x WOF cream texture U strips, the 1 ½" x WOF pink scribble V strips and the 3 ½" x WOF green geometric W strips, cutting 2 each 73 ½" U1, V1, and W1 strips and 2 each 60 ½" U2, V2, and W2 strips. Sew a V1 strip between U1 and W1 strips to make a 5 ½" x 73 ½" side border strip. Press seams toward the V1 strip. Repeat to make a second side border strip. Repeat with the U2, V2, and W2 strips to make 5 ½" x 60 ½" top and bottom border strips.
Ariel 10. Sew the side border strips from step 9 to the long sides of the quilt center. Press seams toward the strips. Stitch a Corner block to each end of the top and bottom border strips. Press seams toward the strips. Sew the strips to the top and bottom of the quilt center. Press seams toward the strips.
12. Sew the 5" x WOF cream floral Y strips short ends together and cut into (2) 85 ½" Y1 strips and (2) 81 ½" Y2 strips. Stitch to the long sides and then the top and bottom of the quilt center to complete the top. Press seams toward the strips. 13. Layer the top with the backing and an 89" x 102" piece of batting. Pin or baste to hold. Quilt as desired. Trim batting and backing even with the top. 14. Prepare binding and bind the edges using your favorite method and the green scribble binding strips to complete the quilt.
Top/Bottom Border — Make 2 11. Stitch the cream X1 and X2 strips from step 8 to the long sides and then the top and bottom of the quilt center. Press seams toward the strips.
