Dirt, Sweat and Tears It was Senior Night at the Mac softball field Monday October 3rd. The Lady Highlanders took two wins that night against Chickasha at five and inner city rival Lawton High at seven. In between the games the Highlanders celebrated their Senior Night, in which the seniors walked around the bases, hugging their fellow teammates along the way. The team is sad the two seniors are leaving, but are happy for them to be graduating and moving on in life. “I’m going to miss all the laughs” said senior Anaiya Goodner. That night Goodner had played a good game along with her teammates to end her last softball season before regionals. “ We all played good and had fun while playing, it was a good way to end my last year”, said senior Gabrielle Toppah.
