EXPEDITION LEADERS Steffan Biersack – Expedition lecturer Before joining Hurtigruten, Steffan was a guide in many different countries across Europe, America and Africa. As a geologist, he finds the complexities of our planet incredibly intriguing and fascinating; a passion he tries to pass on to our guests. He is also the founder of the German Association for the Active Promotion of Geology.

Line Overgaard – Expedition leader Line grew up in Norway, where she also worked on Hurtigruten’s coastal line for several years before joining the MS FRAM. In 2010 she completed one of the world’s toughest outdoor study programmes, the Arctic Nature Guide, in Spitsbergen. Now she gets to share her passion for the Polar regions with our guests.
