Sunday 2 April – entries close Monday 27 March Sunday 14 May – entries close Monday 8 May Waihou Recreation Reserve An accumulator points prize will be held over the series with Champion and Reserve sashes being awarded for the most points gained in each division. A mounted prizegiving for these on Day Two - weather permitting. Competitors must compete on same horse on both days to be eligible, in one division only, nominate on entry form.

Entry Fees: $15 per test Ground Fee: $9 per horse (MTDG members exempt) Yards: $10 Late entry or late payment fee: $10 per test.

DIVISIONS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY : INTRODUCTORY RIDER : for beginner dressage riders . Restricted to riders who have not been placed (1st–4th) more than three times in any dressage (incl. pony club, eventing etc.) at time of entry for the first day. Riders may not have been placed in any graded dressage competition. ESNZ Community Membership required if the rider is not a current ESNZ member. GREEN HORSE : for beginner dressage horses & ponies Restricted to horses/ponies with less than 6 starts at ANY event with a dressage test (incl. eventing, pony club, etc.) at time of entry. ESNZ Community Membership required if the rider is not a current ESNZ member. AMATEUR : for horses not yet established in level 1 work. For unregistered horses/ponies with less than three placings in dressage events. Also for horses/ponies graded Level 1 who have earned zero dressage points. ESNZ Community Membership required if the rider is not a current ESNZ member. PRELIMINARY : For horses who have gained any level 1 dressage points and unregistered horses who do not meet the criteria for Amateur division. ESNZ Community Membership required if the rider is not a current ESNZ member. NOVICE : For horses who have gained any level 2 dressage points. Also open to non registered horses. Horses graded Level 3 or above are ineligible. ESNZ Community Membership required if the rider is not a current ESNZ member. MTDG SPECIAL CLASS : Financial members only. Please nominate your test of choice with entry. You need to ride any one test from the level above where you usually compete i.e. out of your comfort level! ESNZ Community Membership required if the rider is not a current ESNZ member. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY : 1. Morrinsville – Te Aroha Dressage Group Autumn Ribbon Days are ESNZ sanctioned events. 2. All classes run under ESNZ Rules. Please ensure your entry, gear and attire complies with ESNZ rules. 3. Under new ESNZ membership rules all riders competing and at least one parent of riders under 18 yrs must be members of ESNZ, including for Nongraded classes. For this you need to register under a “Community Membership” which is free. Go to www.nzequestrian.org.nz and sign up from August 1st. Once you have registered you can enter online. We will collect your details electronically. 4. Entries will not be accepted without full payment of entry & other fees. Entries without the correct/current ESNZ registration will not be accepted. 5. Please pay by internet banking – MTDG 03 0371 0142964 00 with full competitor name as reference. All payments must be received by the closing date of entries or a late fee will apply. 6. Entries are not valid until full payment of all fees are received before entry close date.

Each rider must enter separately – i.e. do not enter several horses under one rider name if other people will be riding them. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt (with payment confirmed), and are limited to 25 per class. For late entry requests please contact the Event Secretary– please do not make late entries online or via email. Late entries may be wait-listed. Accepted late entries will incur a $10 penalty per test, payable before riding on the day. Maximum of 3 tests per horse/pony per day. Maximum of 3 horses per rider. Ponies may compete against horses in all classes. Division must be nominated with entry to be eligible for Champion & Reserve sashes. Only one division per horse/rider combination may be chosen. Combination must attend both days to be eligible. One rider per horse/pony. Yards available are limited and are allocated to volunteers first, then in order of entries received. Yard fee ($10 per horse) must be paid with entry in order to secure a yard. (Yard fee waived for MTDG members). All competitors must wear saddle blanket numbers that will be allocated and must be collected from the office PRIOR TO COMPETING. These must be worn at all times while mounted. All horses must wear ID tags (with name and contact cell phone number) at all times on the grounds when not competing. (Can be purchases from office). Draw available on www.equestrianentries.co.nz If the show is cancelled due to weather forecast, notification will be Friday 31 March or Friday 12 May after 1pm. Riders will be sent email messages or text messages where possible. Please ensure a contact phone number /email address is provided for this purpose. Cancellation will also be on website & Facebook page – it is the rider’s responsibility to check if unsure. Please notify scratchings – text/phone 021 269 4271. 80% of fees may be refunded with a Vet, Farrier, or Doctors Certificate, accepted up to 7 days after the event. Refund is calculated after deduction of any online entry fees, late entry fees and Ground fees. Any refunds are paid at the discretion of the Committee. No Liability will be accepted by Morrinsville Te Aroha Dressage Group in the event of any accident or injury to horse, rider, spectator or property. Only entered horses are to be brought onto the grounds on competition day. Any riders under 18 years of age must complete a Declaration Form which must be signed by a parent or caregiver. A mounted prizegiving will be held on the second day to present Champion and Reserve sashes for each division. All yards and areas around floats & trucks must be left clean & tidy.
