DLL Evaluations February 11th 2018…What do I need to know for my child? Why evaluations are important? They give managers the opportunity to see base skills of each child in order to keep competitive balance in every division. Who does NOT have to attend? T-ball players and players who played in the Major Division in spring of 2017 do NOT have to come to 2018 Evaluations Players who are the son/daughter of a parent managing a team in 2018 EVERYONE ELSE MUST ATTEND EVALUATIONS! For all age claims below please reference DLL age chart found on our website What should I expect if my child is….
BASEBALL AGE 12 (Birthday May 2005 - Aug 2006) Baseball age 12 and did NOT play on a Majors team in spring 2017, is new to league or played in the B Division. Your child MUST attend evaluations at the time designated for 12 year olds and will be automatically drafted to a team in the Major Division.
BASEBALL AGE 11 (Birthday Sep 2006 –Aug 2007) Baseball age 11, did NOT play in the Major Division in the spring, and wants to try out for the Major Division. Your child MUST attend evaluations at the time designated for 11 year olds. If your child is not drafted by a Major Division team they will be automatically placed in our B Division. Signing up for Major Division does not guarantee a spot on a Major Division team. If you fail to attend evaluations your child will automatically be placed in our B Division. Baseball age 11 and wants to play on a B Division team. Your child MUST attend evaluations at the time designated for 11 year olds. Your child will automatically be drafted to a B division team unless they are deemed by all Major and B Division managers they should play in the Major Division. This will include a discussion with parents prior to any final decision.

BASEBALL AGE 7 (Birthday Sep 2010 – Aug 2011) Baseball age 7. They will automatically be placed in our C Division. They must attend evaluations at the time designated for the C Division.
BASEBALL AGE 6 (Birthday Sep 2011 – Aug 2012) Baseball age 6 and wants to play on a C Division team. Your child MUST attend evaluations at the time designated for C Division. Your child will automatically be drafted to a C division team UNLESS they are deemed by all C Division managers they should play T-ball. We strongly suggested that all 6 year olds try out for our C Division if they have played any Baseball before.
BASEBALL AGE 4 & 5 (Birthday Sep 2012 – Aug 2014) Baseball age 4 and 5. Your child will automatically be placed in our T Ball Division.
BASEBALL AGE 12 (Birthday May 2005 - Aug 2006) Baseball age 12 and did NOT play on a Majors team in spring 2017, is new to league or played in the B Division. Your child will automatically be drafted to a C division team UNLESS they are deemed by all C Division managers they should play T-ball. We strongly suggested that all 6 year olds try out for our C Division if they have played any Baseball before.
BASEBALL AGE 4 & 5 (Birthday Sep 2012 – Aug 2014) Baseball age 4 and 5. Your child will automatically be placed in our T Ball Division.
