Do you need a round or elongated toilet seat? · On your toilet bowl measure the distance from the center of the seat bolt holes to the outside front of the bowl. · Standard round toilet bowls measure about 16 ½ inches, so you would need a round toilet seat. · Standard elongated toilet bowls measure about 18 ½ inches, so you would need an elongated toilet seat. Place gasket under hinge plate (concave side up) and screw threaded rod into chosen hole. Gasket
Pass threaded rod through mounting holes on bowl. Slide rubber washer into rod and secure with nut.

Optional Adjustment: Adjust spacing/reach on the toilet seat, use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen screws on the hinge plates, and swivel plates to desired position. Tighten screws.
Align toilet seat hinge’s holes to proper fit on toilet bowl. Choose hole that best fit the positioning of your toilet seat.
