Matches will be decided using a “Best of Five” format, in which the first team to win three games will be declared the winner. All participants must present a photo id prior to participation. Game time is forfeit time.
How the Game will be played:
Teams shall be made up of 6 players with a minimum of 4 players to start a match. Once “a game” starts no substitution will be allowed for ANY reason.
Games of Dodgeball should take around 1-4 minutes. Players should not hold the ball. The ball should be thrown within 5 seconds of securing it.
During play, all players must remain within the boundary lines. Players may leave the boundaries only to retrieve stray balls.
Once game play has reached one player per team the half court boundary is eliminated and players can cross into the other team’s territory.
This game is played using the “HONOR SYSTEM”. Players will be expected to rule whether or not a hit was legal or illegal. Arguing is NOT allowed. If this occurs, players may be asked to leave the playing area.

DoDgeball ‘out’ ScenarioS The ball becomes dead once it hits the ground, wall, opponent or opponents ball
If a player is hit with a ball, the player hit is out
If a ball is caught by an opposing player, the thrower is out
If a ball thrown is knocked down by a ball held by the opposing player, no one is out
If a ball thrown is knocked down by a ball held by the opposing player then hits the opposing player, no one is out. As long as the thrown ball hits the held ball first
If a ball thrown contacts an opposing player, then hits the wall, the ball is dead and the contacted person is out. Catching the ball does not apply once the ball hit the wall
No player may re-enter the game once eliminated.
