Features
Unlike some other SSASs, DSAS Mk2 operates independently, so it will continue to function even if the ship’s communication system is taken down.
Easy to install
Continuous hourly tracking
DSAS Mk2 requires just two cables and can be installed by ship’s crew. Backwards compatible with DSAS Mk1 installations to make upgrading simple.
Unlike some SSASs which only track the vessels position after an alert has been triggered, DSAS Mk2 offers continuous hourly tracking (included as standard).
Backup power source
Two activation points
Features an integrated backup power pack that will power the unit for 5-7 days (dependent on operating conditions) in the event that the ship’s main power goes offline or is actively taken down.
DSAS Mk2 comes with two alert activation points with hinged lids to protect them from inadvertent or accidental activation.
