Creating a Non PO Invoice

Click create

Click on Create This option should be used to create Non PO invoices only

Click on invoice Click on + Invoice

Select correct branch and entity

Select Unilever Branch for which connection is established. Note: do not create connections manually. If you are not sure – check your connection network settings

Choose Legal Entity you wish to invoice for selected Unilever Branch.

Issue date & Currency

The invoice information required by Unilever (validation rules) can be found HERE 7 | Confidential

You may add additional relevant fields here (for example Uniliever contact name)

Add your line item detail here

Complete Invoice template - Exchange Rate For invoice which are issued in currency which is not a local currency of the supplier - exchange rate and value of converted Tax amount to local currency should be provided on the header

A single payment method per invoice is a Unilever requirement. (Do not use cash as a Payment method)

Complete Invoice template Add payment method. You can also save the payment method for future invoices. A single payment method is mandatory

Once all the required fields are complete you can Preview the invoice or Send it

Tradeshift validates the invoice against validation rules. Tradeshift will highlight any corrections you need to make before sending the document

You can check document status

You can check your document status in your Document tab. Click on a document to view it.

Invoice status updated on the document

Current status of the document is visible on the Top right corner of the invoice.

History of the invoice statues and messages can be found in Universal Inbox. Cick on “Contact buyer” and this will be displayed

Click on the ‘Network’ tab.

Then select the Unilever branch you wish to send an invoice to from your network connections list.

Click ‘Create Document’
