UNACCEPTABLE WASTE: E-WASTE RECYCLING PROGRAM UNACCEPTABLE WASTE Please note that house/portable phones, phone chargers, ink tanks, toner cartridges, digital cameras, camcorders, calculators, iPods, e-readers, tablets or loose batteries are NOT accepted through this program.
Inkjet Cartridges versus Inkjet Tanks Tanks are ink holders and are not accepted through this program. They are identified by the lack of a copper strip as shown above. The above picture is an example of a generic tank. All tanks have a port to evacuate ink to a print head. Some tanks may have a small copper pad, but will not have a copper nozzle strip. Toner cartridges are also not accepted through this program. The image above is an example of a toner cartridge. Also, please do not send in any of the items shown below. You will not earn TerraCycle points for these items and they will not count towards the 10-item shipment size requirement to earn TerraCycle points.
