Eau Claire Youth Hockey Playing Time Policy Bantam Policy(*) A
Provide relatively equal and meaningful playing time over the course of the year. Provide relatively equal and meaningful special team playing time for the first half of year. Allow some coach discretion for the last 5 minutes of tournament games. Allow some coach discretion for play down games and state tournament.
B
Provide relatively equal and meaningful time over course of year including special teams. Allow some coach discretion for the last 5 minutes of play down games and state tournament.
C
Same as B.
Pee Wee Policy(*) A/B/C Provide relatively equal and meaningful playing time over the course of the year. Provide relatively equal and meaningful special team playing time except play downs and state tournament Allow some coach discretion for the last 5 minutes of play down games and state tournament.
Squirt Policy(*) A/B
Rotate evenly throughout the year for all games and tournaments including special teams. The intent is to develop all squirts and provide as equal and meaningful playing time as possible.

All ECYH players are expected to be active participants in games and practices, compete with a good attitude, and respect their coaches. Discipline or behavior problems can potentially impact playing time if issues arise.
