Effective August 1st 2017 the following changes are made to the MYSA Registration Policies pertaining to Participation in organized activities outside of games and competitions. 1. Players may attend any private or group training, camp, or activity with any other team/club/individual. No permission to participate forms are required. (This does NOT include games or competitions outside of their club). 2. Players will have opportunities to transfer throughout the soccer season. There will be 2 approved transfer windows plus an out of process transfer. A. December 1 to January 10 is the first window. The transfer fee is $175 plus all commitments to the previous club - whatever is included in the agreement between players, parents and team/club. If there is no agreement, then there are no commitments that would need to be settled. This transfer would require a transfer request form filled out and the current team/club would have 10 days to respond. B. June 1st to July 31st is the second window. June 1st to the day following the close of State Cup is an open window for players/parents to talk to any other team/club. Day after the close of State Cup tryouts may be held. Tryouts start and players are allowed to move without permission form or cost. From the day after the close of State Cup to August 1st, there are no transfer costs. C. Out of process transfers between: January 11 and May 31st and/or August 1st to November 30 would be a $350 fee plus all commitments to the previous club - whatever is included in the agreement between the players, parents, and team/club. If there is no agreement, then there are no commitments that would need to be settled. This transfer would require a transfer request form filled out and the current team/club would have 10 days to respond. 3. The above policies do not affect any other provision or policy in place by Missouri Youth Soccer including restrictions on recruitment of players. All reviews/issues will be handled by a recruitment and transfer review committee overseen by the Alternate District Commissioners of Missouri Youth Soccer.
