Dear  Friend  of  St.  Theresa  School,     Preparations  for  the  St.  Theresa  School  PTO’s  annual  Auction  are  underway.     This  exciting  fundraiser  is  to  be  held  on   Saturday,   March   1,   2014   at   The   National   Conference   Center   (18980 Upper Belmont Place, Leesburg, VA 20176). Our   2013  auction  was  a  success  due  to  the  many  generous  donations  from  local  and  out-­‐of-­‐town  businesses  and  patrons.       The  generosity  of  businesses  and  patrons  in  years  past  has  helped  us  excel  the  level  of  a  U.S.  Department  of  Education   2010   Blue   Ribbon   Award   recipient.   Only   8   Virginia   schools   received   this   prestigious   award.   The   Blue   Ribbon   Award   recognizes  those  schools  that  are  committed  to  ensuring  all  students,  regardless  of  background  or  ability,  receive  the   quality  education  they  deserve.     With  this  year’s  theme  Around  the  World,  we  look  forward  to  another  successful  auction.    Proceeds  from  the  Auction   will   help   to   fund   the   Technology   Department   that   will   benefit   students   from   every   grade,   also   it   will   help   fund   educational  programs,  including  our  mathematics  and  science  program  and  support  the  children’s  daily  environment   by   providing   technological   advances,   art   and   physical   education   materials,   as   well   as   continuous   education   for   our   teachers.     We  are  asking  for  your  support  in  helping  us  achieve  our  goal  by  donating  auction  items  in  form  of  prizes,  services,  gift   certificates,  event  tickets  or  cash.  Another  donation  opportunity  is  the  availability  of  advertising  space  in  our  auction   catalog   and   school   website.   Many   sizes   are   available;   please   see   the   attached   Program   Advertising   Agreement   for   more  information.   As  an  Auction  Donor  you  will  receive:     •  Display  of  your  promotional  materials  during  the  auction  along  with  your  donated  item(s).  Please  send  them  with   your  donation  (business  cards,  brochures,  etc)   •  Multiple  recognitions  on  the  school  auction  newsletters  and  auction  catalog.  Email  logo  (jpg  file).   •  Logo  display  in  our  Facebook  page:       St.   Theresa   School   is   a   501(c)3   organization,   and   as   so,   your   donations   may   be   tax   deductible.     We  realize  that  many  requests  are  made  of  you  each  year,  and  we  sincerely  appreciate  your  willingness  to  assist  us  in   providing   a   quality   education   to   the   hundreds   of   children   of   different   backgrounds   and   abilities   who   attend   St.   Theresa  School.     Please  complete  the  enclosed  donation  agreement  and  return  it  to  the  address  listed.    If  you  would  like,  we  would  be   happy  to  make  arrangements  to  pick  up  your  donation  locally.     Thank  you  for  considering  our  request.    For  further  information,  please  contact  one  of  our  Auction  Co-­‐Chairs:    Blanca   Ramirez  703-­‐349-­‐6046  or  Elizabeth  Wavering  If  you  prefer,  you  may  send  an  email  to  [email protected]     Sincerely,
