Wake up to elk, mule deer and bear in your front yard, and live where you have no neighbors and seeing another human is only by choice. As a jumping off spot for elk hunting, you can't beat this location, and a More details at resident elk herd is usually residing on the property, with the largest elk landsofcolorado.com/listing/969899 taken from the ranch being a 300 B&C 6x6, and numerous other nice bulls taken right on the property. Located in the limited draw hunting area 67, the property also draws numerous private landowner tags that can either be used or sold to produce income for the ranch. The ranch has traditionally been an income producing property for the owner, who leases it out by the week for the summer at $950/week. The area has great hunting and fishing opportunites all around, and except for one other large, neighboring ranch (1,000 acres to the west, currently offered for sale at $4.5 million), is surrounded by public lands. This "inholding" of private ground bordering public lands is a very unique offering, and should only increase in value as large tracts get more scarce. This valley is an area the size of the state of Connecticut, but is 86% publically owned land, making it one of the least populated and most scenic areas of Colorado. They don't make them like this anymore, so hurry!
