BORDER/ENDLESS EMBROIDERY Supply List This class is a combination of computer demo/machine design and stitchouts. We will work to create an “endless/border” design and then stitch it out, learning the benefits of the endless/border hoops. The Brother and Viking models both offer two sizes of border hoops. For class, I will provide several designs for us to play with. Due to the time required for stitch-outs, we will use very simple designs to “learn how”, and then offer others for a really nice project. Bring: Embroidery machine with embroidery unit, embroidery foot and power cord -Endless/border hoop if available or larger regular hoop -USB for design transfer -Embroidery threads and bobbin (red and green would be great) -Basic sewing supplies including washable/iron off marker and ruler -Lightweight tear-away stabilizer on a roll -1/2 yard of basic, solid or tone on tone fabric (this is for practice so muslin is fine) These techniques work great on sheet border hems, linens such as tablecloths, garment hems, towel borders and so much more. One of the practice designs is a holly border which works great for Christmas!
