End of Term/Start of Term – FINAL PUSH FOR UCAS For Sixth Form students the last day of lessons is Wednesday 20 December. Only students directed to attend in Thursday must attend but all students are welcome to attend on Thursday for private study or UCAS support, with mince pies. This will not affect bursary payments. Lessons start on Thursday 4 January. Students are expected in at 8.40am for a normal day. It is week 1 on our return.

December Mocks RESULTS Year 13 students have sat MOCK papers in classes in December. Data will be available to parents in January but many staff have provided feedback to students in advance of the holidays. We have set students a target to move up a grade from October reports. The holidays provide an ideal opportunity to ensure FOLDERS are in good order and that any gaps in knowledge from Year 12 or the recent mocks are addressed. If you have any questions regarding the sixth form please do not hesitate to contact me at school. Thank you for your continued support and I wish you all every success and good health for 2019 – the biggest and most exciting year yet. Yours sincerely

Mr Simon Purrier Director of Sixth Form
