PRAYER PLEDGE COMPLIANCE WITH FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT APPROVAL OF AGENDA PUBLIC HEARINGS, AWARDS & PRESENTATIONS A. PUBLIC HEARING: A Public Hearing to receive input on a request to amend the Comprehensive Plan 2009-2019 (2014 Update) Future Land Use Map by changing the land use designation from Rural Conservation-3 to Low Density Neighborhood for an approximately 16.23 acre tract of land described as follows: (i) an approximately 8.87 acre parcel located at 3864 U.S. Highway 17 North, identified by TMS No. 615-00-00-050, and known as Lot A, Ten Mile Subdivision, as depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County RMC Office in Book EC, Page 554; (ii) an approximately 0.36 acre parcel, located on U.S. Highway 17 North, identified by TMS No. 615-00-00-124, and known as Lot A-2, Ten Mile Subdivision, as depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County RMC Office in Book DB, Page 407; (iii) an approximately 0.87 acre parcel located at

3866 U.S. Highway 17 North, identified by TMS No. 615-00-00-125, and known as Lot A-1, Ten Mile Subdivision, as depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County RMC Office in Book DB, Page 407; and (iv) an approximately 6.13 acre portion of an approximately 9.957 acre parcel of land located on U.S. Highway 17 North and identified by TMS No. 615-00-00-047. B. PUBLIC HEARING: A Public Hearing to receive input on the issuance by the South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority (“Authority”) of its Education Facilities Revenue Bonds in one or more taxable of tax-exempt series in a maximum aggregate principal amount not to exceed $11,000,000 (collectively, “Bonds”). The Authority will loan the proceeds of the Bonds to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (“Borrower”). The Borrower intends to use the proceeds of the Bonds to (i) finance all or a portion of the costs associated with designing, acquiring, constructing, and equipping an educational facility, consisting of approximately 31.252 square feet of classroom space and an approximately 12,735 square foot gym in the Town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, including related real estate and appurtenances (collectively, “Facility”), all of which constitutes property eligible to be financed with education facilities revenue bonds; (ii) refinance a loan used to pay for the costs associated with acquiring, constructing, rehabilitating and equipping the Facility (collectively, items (i) and (ii) are the “Project”), (iii) finance capitalized interest during the construction period of the Project, if any, and (iv) provide for payment of certain fees and expenses to be incurred in connection with the issuance of the Bonds. The Project will be initially owned and operated by the Borrower. The Project will be located on Faison Road in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina 29466 adjacent to the Town’s park and recreational fields. The Bonds, when issued, will be special, limited obligations of the Authority payable solely out of the revenues derived from the Page 2 of 9
