Filtration System - completely plumbed to allow for draining, filtering and returning shortening to vat. Portable filter tub constructed of 304 stainless steel fits neatly under fryer behind lower door. The tub is complete with stainless steel breading strainer, permanent stainless steel mesh filter with standpipe. Fryer furnished with 5.5 gallon-per-minute (21 liter-per-minute) pump activated by plumbing valve microswitches. Shortening returned through bottom sweep. Self Cleaning Option - Includes 4 nozzle Automatic Vat Cleaner made of 304 stainless steel that attaches to the basket hanger and connects to the plumbing system via button release connector. Shroud covers entire vat when in place. Its nozzles are designed to rinse complete interior of vat including heating element. Optional Instant Polish Envelope - with standpipe available in lieu of stainless steel mesh filter.
The 45 lb. floor model electric fryer with high efficiency 17 KW energy input and a capacity of 35 to 45 lbs. (17-22 liters) of shortening. The 14” x 14” x 5” (356 mm x 356 mm x 127 mm) deep (to top of heat exchanger) fry tank is constructed of 16 Ga. 304L stainless steel sides, back and bottom, and 14 Ga. 304L stainless steel front with insulation batts between the vat and cabinet. Standard accessories include two baskets, grid screen over heating element, and clean out rod. Frying medium 5” (127 mm) at high level (45 lbs./22 liters), 3” (89 mm) at low level (35 lbs./17 liters). Full width by 10-1/2” (267 mm) deep 16 Ga. 304 stainless steel drain apron with inverted “V” edge on front and ends. Rear lip turned down into vat 3/4” (19 mm) and back 1/2” (13 mm) on a 45° angle forming a “dog dish” lip with front of vat. Apron pitched front to rear to facilitate draining into vat. The entire cabinet is fabricated from 18 Ga. 304 stainless steel mounted on 3” (76 mm) neoprene casters, 2 with brakes. Below apron is hinged control door. Door fitted with control (see control options, U03, U11, or U21) with built-in melt cycle and “default-to-off” safety feature. Unit furnished with 1-1/4” (32 mm) NPT stainless steel ball valve located at front of vat. Valve operated with removable drain handle. Inside of lower door equipped with drain handle hook. Fryer furnished with 72” (1829 mm) cord and plug for 120 volt outlet to power control.
LIMITED HEAT LOADS Heating Elements are made of low watt density flat bar construction and have surface areas to keep heat flux to less than 35 watts/sq.in. at full input power.
