Before you begin Read all instructions before beginning project. Do not prewash fabrics. Press fabrics well before cutting.
Assembly 1. Determine the printed area on the fat quarter to be featured in your frame. With wrong side facing up, center the frame over the area. Use the inside edge of the frame to draw a 10" square. Draw a line 1 ¼" outside the square and cut out on this line. 2. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, spray the wrong side of the trimmed square with the spray adhesive. Note: Place fabric square on top of newspapers and spray in a well-ventilated area. 3. Center 10" x 10" stiff cardboard on 10" marked square. Press 1 ¼" fabric to back of cardboard on all sides. Note: It may be necessary to spray the corners where they overlap. Center and glue 10" square of felt, cardboard, or paper to back to cover cut edges. 4. Arrange decorative embellishments as desired and glue to fabric; allow to dry well. Note: Keep embellishments at least ¼" from outer edges. 5. Run a thin line of glue around the inside lip of the frame and press the covered cardboard (decorated side to the front of the frame) against the glued lip; allow to dry. 6. Refer to photo to glue ribbons to frame or decorate as desired. 7. To hang, attach hanger to back of frame.
