Project Overview The Ecosystem Enhancement System (EEP) – now the Division of Mitigation Services (DMS) -- initiated a Local Watershed Plan within these watersheds in 2004. This area was chosen because of existing water quality and aquatic habitat degradation issues, as well as important habitat values which are present. Streams within this area have been designated as Outstanding Resource Waters, and the area also contains a significant aquatic heritage area of national significance. The upper portions of these watersheds are growing rapidly. Project Schedule The Preliminary Findings Report for the watershed area was completed in August 2005. This project is now on hold.
