Lower right corner of the block layout.
Instructions: Cut out background square 13" x 13". Trace templates onto fusible web. Label each template. Cut out around templates. Fuse templates to wrong side of fabric. Cut out on the traced lines. Tape pages of layout guide together on the registration lines. If using black or dark background trace the layout guide on wax paper with a permanent marker and tape to the top edge of the layout guide. Pin background fabric to the layout guide. Remove paper backing from templates and position on the background fabric using the layout guide. Fuse in place. Pin tear-away stabilizer to the back of the block. Edge stitch all applique patches. Remove stabilizer. Trim block to 12-1/2" square.
