On February 9, Dorothy Rosin went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her son, Bob Rosin, shared, “My mom had a heart and deep love for missions, wherever that might be. After all, God’s love enfolds us all with arms big enough for still more.” Dorothy had a mission connection throughout her life, being involved on the local, district, and national level of LWML as an officer, devotion writer and Associate Editor of the Lutheran Woman’s Quarterly. As the first woman elected to an LCMS board, she served on the Board of Mission Services from 1973 to 1985. Well done, good and faithful servant.

This facilitator-led DVD workshop for use by women of the LCMS and in sponsored events through LWML districts and zones is a must-have resource. The goal of the Faith Talk© outreach training program is that each woman will be compelled to share the Gospel, pray for and recognize opportunities to do so, and then confidently live and speak her faith. The Faith Talk© interactive materials offer an opportunity for Lutheran Women in Mission to learn outreach techniques in everyday situations.
