Spend Fall Break Exploring the Outdoors at CNC September 15-19 Looking for things to do when the kids are out of school? Visit CNC to explore the outdoors. Plus we have some special activities JUST for you.
• Fall Break Craft and View, September 15 - 19 Join us during the week of Fall Break for daily crafts and movies – a new theme each day! Crafts begin at 2:30 pm, movies begin at 3 pm! All ages welcomed! Movie titles below, crafts will be themed with each movie. Monday: THE NATURAL HISTORY OF THE CHICKEN Tuesday: LIFE IN THE LAND OF GREAT PREDATORS Wednesday: VISIONS OF THE SEA Thursday: SEEING IN THE DARK Friday: LEAVE IT TO BEAVERS
• Weekday Programs Tuesday: Feeding Time at 4pm Thursday: Creature Feature at 4pm Friday: Creature Feature at 4pm

• Scavenger Hunts:
Come check out our new indoor and outdoor scavenger hunt to take part in and earn some points. Head outside onto the trails of CNC to discover our Fall Scavenger Hunt. Since CNC looks different from season to season, we want to see how well you know the grounds. Hunt for items around the grounds and try to score a BINGO and you could earn up to 200 points. Our indoor scavenger hunt will have you searching around the Nature Exchange to learn about some of our native animals – find a description and try to figure out what animal it could be! Name them all and earn 100 points to add to your trading account.
• Come make your own leaf rubbings • Our animal track ID activity will have you matching up animals and their tracks • Have fun with our animal scat (that’s right, scat) activity! You will try to figure out who left our scat clues
