When: Load in the back parking lot of CGS no later than 4 pm on Friday, September 18. Depart promptly at 4:30 pm. Arrive back at CGS no later than 5 pm on Sunday, September 20. We will travel in at least one 15-passenger van. If we have enough people sign up, we will rent two vans. Some adults will travel in their own cars. Where: Trinity Center of the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina in Salter Path NC (252-247-5600) Why: To learn more about our faith and each other while we study, worship, work, and play together on Bogue Banks. Deadline: Wednesday, September 2 by 5 pm. Sign up on line or complete a paper registration form available at front desk in church office. In addition, you must have signed 2015-16 Youth Covenant and Youth Registration forms on file with Director of Family Ministries. Cost: $195 per person. Additional items to bring: Beachwear and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or sandy, toiletries, flashlights. Bring a casual outfit appropriate to wear to St Francis by the Sea on Sunday. Bring a tshirt, shorts and pair of closed toe shoes that can be worn in the water. While you may bring your cell phone subject to the CGS Youth Covenant, please leave all other electronics at home. Please review the 2015-16 Youth Community Covenant with your child before the Fall Retreat and remind him or her that all rules are in full effect. Please note that if your child will need to take medications while attending the program, s/he must bring the medication with him or her and assume responsibility for taking it as needed or indicated.
