MOUNTING SURFACES Smoothness and cleanliness of the mounting surfaces are important in achieving a strong bond. The pliable foam carrier adapts to minor surface variations thus allowing adhesive to form a strong bond.

Mounting surfaces must be clean and dry for proper adhesive performance. If you are not sure that the surface is clean and dry, it is advisable to perform a cleaning procedure. Commonly encountered contaminants include dust, dirt, grease, oil, moisture, and others such as mold release agents and silicone residue. For smooth surfaces of any type, extruded or molded clips are recommended. For rough surfaces, a molded clip is advised since it has an extremely flat base which contributes to a better adhesive bond on uneven surfaces.
INSTALLATION Adhesive is for use in interior environments only. 1. Peel backing from clip or raceway and press firmly onto the mounting surface. Use approximately 12 lbs. of pressure for one second to assure a good bond. 2. Leave newly mounted product undisturbed for at least five minutes prior to any loading. 3. Clips and raceway will hold up to 50% of Rated Static Load five minutes after mounting. We highly recommend a 24 hour wait period before applying full Rated Static Loads.
DEKDUCT RACEWAY Tyco Electronincs' Dek Cable Accessories are available in Dekduct raceways with both a two piece (base and cover) and one piece latching variety. Each version can be applied to power applications as well as for low voltage, class 2 circuits. When used for power applications, the raceway needs to be mechanically mounted every 8 inches. A center channel molded into each version of the Dekduct raceway provides the means to connect additional lengths and fittings. The same channel allows for installation of a divider strip thereby enabling both power and communication cables to coexist in the 1 inch raceway. A complete line of fittings is available for the Dekduct raceway to facilitate routing cables and wires to meet the needs of each unique installation. EIA/TIA compliant fittings for Category 5 high speed data cables and fiber optic cables are available to connect with our raceway. The minimum bend radius for the Dekduct raceway Category 5/fiber optic fittings is 11⁄2 inches, compared to the industry standard of a 1 inch bend radius.

When comparing capacities of the Dekduct raceway with that produced by other raceway manufacturers, please be aware that other companies may identify the size by using the maximum exterior base measurement. Raceway size is identified by rounding off the minimum internal width of the raceway. Simplify wiring run installation in virtually any location. Many Deklip fasteners and Dekduct raceway series use Tyco Electronics' Dek advanced adhesive fastening system. This fastening system uses ultra-high performance closed cell foam with pressure sensitive adhesive on both sides. The pliable foam carrier resists shock and vibration and compensates for minor variations in the mounting surface.

The adhesive holds aggressively on almost any clean, commercial, product surface. No mounting holes are needed, thus enhancing the cosmetic appearance of equipment. Bolts, nuts, and other fastening hardware are not required. Installation is quick and easy. Merely peel off the protective backing and press clip firmly in place (12 lbs. of pressure for one second). Clips will hold wiring and cable up to 50% of Rated Static Load just one minute after mounting. For full Rated Static Loads, a 24 hour waiting period is highly recommended. Mounting surfaces include: metal, glass, wood, plastic, and almost any clean, smooth, dry surface (free from corrosion, moisture, oil, dust, dirt, and other contaminants). For tough surface mounting applications, Dek products have an adhesive for applications such as sand finish dry wall, mild stucco, wood, and even cinder block. Designed to fit harmoniously into any environment, this high performance adhesive gets into surfaces instantly, saving you time and money. For best results, parts should be mounted in temperatures ranging from 60° to 80°F.

■ DEKLAMP SERIES 016 DUAL CABLE CLAMP Deklamp series 016 dual cable clamp is designed to fasten, hold, strain relieve, or guide cables with or without protective convoluted tubing. Made from super strong, automotive approved, glass reinforced nylon, the Deklamp cable clamp works well under severe conditions, under high loads, and in a multitude of environments. This clamp is UV stable and has excellent resistance to petrochemicals.

■ DEKLIP SERIES 022 AND 023 ROUND WIRE MOUNT Deklip series 022 and 023 round wire mounts are an attractive, low cost alternative recommended where the exceptionally high performance Series 021 wire mounts are not needed. Series 022 and 023 wire mounts, constructed of precision extruded PVC copolymer, characteristically have the same basic advantages as Series 021. Available in various sizes, these clips accept wire bundles up to 3⁄4". For installation in cramped quarters, compact Series 023 wire mounts are ideal.

Extruded from durable gray PVC, Series 025 shell clips are ideal for economical wire and cable retention applications. The flame and chemical resistant PVC also has excellent flexural strength and electrical properties. Installing Series 025 is quick and easy with Tyco Electronics' advanced adhesive mounting system. Simply remove backing from adhesive and press the clip firmly into place. Note: Deklip series 025 shell clips are designed with self-closing feature. Series 026 is capable of handling very high load factors, bundle size changes, and just about any type of wire or cable. It is molded from UL Recognized 6/6 nylon and will not creep or deform, even at elevated temperatures. Suitable for long or short runs, it is quickly and economically installed.

■ DEKLIP SERIES 029 AND 030 ROUND WIRE PUSH MOUNT CLIP Deklip push mount clips are used in a wide variety of environmental conditions and on any surface up to 0.150" thick. Just snap into a 0.250" hole and the push mount will hold 25 lbs. continuous load and 50 lbs. impact load. Each series holds a minimum of 3/16" diameter wire bundle and a maximum of a 1" bundle. The clip material, UL 6/6 nylon, is self-extinguishing and will not creep or deform at elevated temperatures.

These clips efficiently organize and retain ribbon, flat wire, and flat cable. They speed installation, improve product appearance, and control wire runs in almost any location. Installation is quick and easy thanks to the advanced adhesive mounting system. Simply peel backing and press the clip into place. Flat cable is easily inserted (or removed). Even with our extensive line of clip styles and sizes, particular runs may fail to fill the clip area. If so, Series 039 and 040 polyurethane-polyester spacers are the answer.

■ DEKTIGHT SERIES 058 LIQUID TIGHT SEAL The Dektight seal and clamp cable connection system not only assures a liquid tight seal, it provides outstanding strain relief without twisting or damaging the cable.
Reinforced material is temperature rated at constant +212°F and brief +302°F. It withstands water pressure up to 70 psi. All sizes are UL Recognized, CSA and VDE approved.
Manufactured from a glass filled polyamide material, the Dektight seals have exceptional strength and excellent long term locking capabilities. Once locked, the threads will not creep, relax, or vibrate loose over time.
Trumpeted Dektight seals are available to prevent sharp bending of cables.
Dektight seals also have a buttress thread which allows for high torque without stripping the threads or cracking the dome. The tapered ring seal eliminates the need for a thread sealing ring.
Simply insert the cable into the Dektight seal, tighten the dome nut and cable is automatically fixed, centered, and sealed, saving you both time and money. Material:

MOUNTING SURFACES Smoothness and cleanliness of the mounting surfaces are important in achieving a strong bond. The pliable foam carrier adapts to minor surface variations thus allowing adhesive to form a strong bond.

Mounting surfaces must be clean and dry for proper adhesive performance. If you are not sure that the surface is clean and dry, it is advisable to perform a cleaning procedure. Commonly encountered contaminants include dust, dirt, grease, oil, moisture, and others such as mold release agents and silicone residue. For smooth surfaces of any type, extruded or molded clips are recommended. For rough surfaces, a molded clip is advised since it has an extremely flat base which contributes to a better adhesive bond on uneven surfaces.
INSTALLATION Adhesive is for use in interior environments only. 1. Peel backing from clip or raceway and press firmly onto the mounting surface. Use approximately 12 lbs. of pressure for one second to assure a good bond. 2. Leave newly mounted product undisturbed for at least five minutes prior to any loading. 3. Clips and raceway will hold up to 50% of Rated Static Load five minutes after mounting. We highly recommend a 24 hour wait period before applying full Rated Static Loads.
DEKDUCT RACEWAY Tyco Electronincs' Dek Cable Accessories are available in Dekduct raceways with both a two piece (base and cover) and one piece latching variety. Each version can be applied to power applications as well as for low voltage, class 2 circuits. When used for power applications, the raceway needs to be mechanically mounted every 8 inches. A center channel molded into each version of the Dekduct raceway provides the means to connect additional lengths and fittings. The same channel allows for installation of a divider strip thereby enabling both power and communication cables to coexist in the 1 inch raceway. A complete line of fittings is available for the Dekduct raceway to facilitate routing cables and wires to meet the needs of each unique installation. EIA/TIA compliant fittings for Category 5 high speed data cables and fiber optic cables are available to connect with our raceway. The minimum bend radius for the Dekduct raceway Category 5/fiber optic fittings is 11⁄2 inches, compared to the industry standard of a 1 inch bend radius.

Simplify wiring run installation in virtually any location. Many Deklip fasteners and Dekduct raceway series use Tyco Electronics' Dek advanced adhesive fastening system. This fastening system uses ultra-high performance closed cell foam with pressure sensitive adhesive on both sides. The pliable foam carrier resists shock and vibration and compensates for minor variations in the mounting surface.

The adhesive holds aggressively on almost any clean, commercial, product surface. No mounting holes are needed, thus enhancing the cosmetic appearance of equipment. Bolts, nuts, and other fastening hardware are not required. Installation is quick and easy. Merely peel off the protective backing and press clip firmly in place (12 lbs. of pressure for one second). Clips will hold wiring and cable up to 50% of Rated Static Load just one minute after mounting. For full Rated Static Loads, a 24 hour waiting period is highly recommended. Mounting surfaces include: metal, glass, wood, plastic, and almost any clean, smooth, dry surface (free from corrosion, moisture, oil, dust, dirt, and other contaminants). For tough surface mounting applications, Dek products have an adhesive for applications such as sand finish dry wall, mild stucco, wood, and even cinder block. Designed to fit harmoniously into any environment, this high performance adhesive gets into surfaces instantly, saving you time and money. For best results, parts should be mounted in temperatures ranging from 60° to 80°F.

■ DEKLIP SERIES 029 AND 030 ROUND WIRE PUSH MOUNT CLIP Deklip push mount clips are used in a wide variety of environmental conditions and on any surface up to 0.150" thick. Just snap into a 0.250" hole and the push mount will hold 25 lbs. continuous load and 50 lbs. impact load. Each series holds a minimum of 3/16" diameter wire bundle and a maximum of a 1" bundle. The clip material, UL 6/6 nylon, is self-extinguishing and will not creep or deform at elevated temperatures.

These clips efficiently organize and retain ribbon, flat wire, and flat cable. They speed installation, improve product appearance, and control wire runs in almost any location. Installation is quick and easy thanks to the advanced adhesive mounting system. Simply peel backing and press the clip into place. Flat cable is easily inserted (or removed). Once the wire is inserted, the serrated inner base reduces slippage.

Even with our extensive line of clip styles and sizes, particular runs may fail to fill the clip area. If so, Series 039 and 040 polyurethane-polyester spacers are the answer.

■ DEKTIGHT SERIES 058 LIQUID TIGHT SEAL The Dektight seal and clamp cable connection system not only assures a liquid tight seal, it provides outstanding strain relief without twisting or damaging the cable.
Reinforced material is temperature rated at constant +212°F and brief +302°F. It withstands water pressure up to 70 psi. All sizes are UL Recognized, CSA and VDE approved.
Manufactured from a glass filled polyamide material, the Dektight seals have exceptional strength and excellent long term locking capabilities. Once locked, the threads will not creep, relax, or vibrate loose over time.
Trumpeted Dektight seals are available to prevent sharp bending of cables.
Dektight seals also have a buttress thread which allows for high torque without stripping the threads or cracking the dome. The tapered ring seal eliminates the need for a thread sealing ring.
Simply insert the cable into the Dektight seal, tighten the dome nut and cable is automatically fixed, centered, and sealed, saving you both time and money. Material:
