“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) Hard to believe we are already in the second month of the new year! I can remember hearing Ed’s mother say how fast the time went as she got older! Now I know just what she meant! I had the wonderful privilege of being able to spend Christmas with Diane’s family in Montana where we had a White Christmas and snow on the ground the entire time I was there!

New Year’s Eve I flew to Washington where I spent the next two weeks with Kevin and his family. For Christmas, I gave each of the grandchildren a pillow made from one of Ed’s shirts. I was so grateful to my sister, Lois, for doing the sewing for me. I put a tag on each shirt with a photo of them with their grandpa and a note saying how much he loved them. They all loved their special memory gift.

It was such a special blessing to be with my family, especially when it was so difficult last Christmas as we were together for Ed’s memorial. We all miss him so much! It will soon be a year and three months since he went to be with his Lord! I look forward to joining him!

They are in the process of building a kitchen and dining room, which is greatly needed! When I was there in 2011, this is how the cook was making meals - outside, and over a charcoal fire! This is how the girls wash dishes! Looks like a back-breaking job to me! The regular newsletter had a photo of the new kitchen/dining room being built. Pray that the remaining funds will come in so it can be completed. I have a personal need I would like to share. Back when I began my ministry with Pioneers and Streams of Living Water, PI suggested that I raise $3,500 monthly support. I never did reach that amount because I was married and we didn’t actually need that full amount. However, most of you are aware that in December of 2014, my dear husband went to be with the Lord. It has been difficult financially, but the Lord has promised to “supply all our needs, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19). I’ve been in touch with PI and for my current needs, I should raise an additional $1,600 per month! While I was out west, I received a recall notice on my car! They don’t even have the part needed so it can’t be fixed yet. It is for an oil leak (which I knew I have) so they advise that the car not be parked in a garage until it is fixed! Well, I keep in in the garage! It’s Winter!!! So please pray for wisdom regarding my car as well. I love being involved with Streams and find it hard to believe that it will be 12 years in July! In the past couple of years, several supporters went to be with the Lord and some were affected by the economic situation. I want to continue serving in this capacity as an advocate for Streams of Living Water, and am praying that the Lord will raise up new supporters so I can. There are many special people I met that I would love to see again - especially the girls at House of Hope. There were only 7 when I last went and now there are 30! I just received greetings from each of the girls and that really touched my heart! I miss those girls - even those I have not met! For those of you who have been supporting me financially, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sacrificial giving! You are all very special to me and I thank the Lord for each one! Thank you all for your love, your prayers and your support! Love in Christ,

Nancy

Praise the Lord for . . . His mercy and grace over this past year as I continue adjusting to life without Ed; the privilege of spending Christmas and New Year’s with my family; the opportunities for growth in Streams of Living Water; The special notes and drawings the girls in House of Hope sent to me; the relationships established while at LBC missions conference.

Pray for . . . the girls of House of Hope that they will grow to love the Lord Jesus with all their heart, soul and mind; financial needs of House of Hope; financial needs to support the ministry of Tyrannus; Brother Philip’s crusade in South Sudan on February 27th; the church planters on the field - that they would remain faithful to the Lord as they are bound to face persecution; the additional $1,600 in support that I need per month; that my car will continue running safely until the part is available to take care of the oil leak; health and strength to continue in this ministry.
