Dear Parents/Carers, In the newsletter before half term we made you aware of fencing work that will be carried out next week. This is to ensure safety for all pupils and to prevent access to the car park. Parents will still be able to come to the school office through the pedestrian gate as usual throughout the school day, the difference being the playground access gate will be locked other than at drop off and pick up times. What this does mean however is a change for those parents who pick up FS1 children at 11.50am. Starting from Monday 7th November, the only access point for picking up children will be the gate between the school and Kiddies Corner. This will be opened by the Kiddies Corner staff just before 11.50am when they come to pick up children and then locked by school staff shortly after. If you arrive a little later you will have to come back to the office. This keeps the site secure and only open during the school day for the smallest possible window. As a courtesy to our neighbours at Kiddies Corner, we would ask you to please park on the roadside if you are driving to pick up children and keep the Kiddies Corner car park free for parents of nursery aged children.
