How much do you really know about the United Methodist Church? Do you have questions? Are you looking for answers? Come and join us, starting on January 14, at 6:00 pm, for our next study, “United Methodist Questions, United Methodist Answers - Exploring our Christian Faith”. This study, based on Rev. F. Belton Joyner’s book by the same title, introduces us to key United Methodist beliefs and practices through a contiguous chain of questions and answers. It does not matter if you are a lifelong Methodist or the newest member of the congregation, this study is for everyone with questions about the United Methodist Church. Bring your Bibles and join me in the Nova SS Classroom, for this informative and sometimes humorous study. Rev. Rex Rogers Associate Pastor
New Ladies Study The Linda Roberts SS Class invites any lady who is interested in studying “The 10 Second Rule – Following Jesus Made Simple”, by Clare DeGraaf to join them during the Sunday School hour at 9:30, beginning January 7. The 6-week study gives practical principles for having a more vibrant Christian walk. Jamie Breeden (368-5836) will be leading the study in Room 151. If you would like to purchase the book for $8, please contact Pam Cox at 405-7973. We hope you will join us!

CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY Please keep the following families in your thoughts and prayers… Bill Woods and family, in the passing of Pat Woods on December 20. The Hathaway family, in the passing of Glenn’s father, Dr. E.J. Hathaway on December 25.
THANK YOU!!!
Blessings to all who gave money, clothing, baked goods, etc., to our Henderson Settlement Project. Thanks to your generosity $7,717 was raised! Special thanks to John Huffman, once again, for the use of his truck and trailer to transport many items for the settlement’s Thrift store. It was loaded!!! On Wednesday, December 6, five folks made the trip and had the opportunity to give out wrapping paper and scotch tape as parents selected toys for their children. It is a blessing to be able to share God’s love with the folks in Appalachia!
