Pre-Class Preparation: 1. Set the serger for one of the following stitches. Not all machines do both stitches – if yours will do a 2Thread Wide Flatlock, use it. o 2-Thread Wide Flatlock (L = 3.5, W=7.0-7.5) # 90 Topstitch needle # 12-wt. thread in the needle and lower looper # Do not forget to engage your subsidiary looper/2-thread converter o 3-Thread Wide Flatlock (L = 3.5, W=7.0-7.5) # 90 Topstitch needle # 12-wt. thread in the needle and upper looper # Serger thread in the lower looper 2. Test the stitch on a scrap of fabric to ensure that it is working (fold fabric in half, serge cutting off the fold, open the fabric flat). We will adjust length and width during the class. 3. Bring plenty of scraps of fabric for testing.

Square flatlocked to 12” wide x 14” tall.
