ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Volunteer Program TRANSPORT Fleet Centre Supervisor The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand in February and March 2015. Fourteen countries will compete for cricket’s ultimate prize. Around one million fans will attend. A further one billion around the world will are expected to watch match broadcasts. And just one team will make it happen. We are looking for up to 4,000 volunteers to join us to help ensure the Tournament’s success.

Overview The Transport Team is responsible for the delivery of fleet services across all match venues - from team buses to car services. This includes the transportation of teams, VIPs, officials, Tournament guests and stakeholders across all 14 Host Cities. Fleet Centres will be located in each Host City to ensure the efficient delivery of comprehensive transport options to all Tournament participants, and will be the hub of the Transport team.

Responsibilities The Fleet Centre Supervisor leads a team of Fleet Centre Assistants to ensure the daily management of the Fleet Centre in each Host City is fulfilled, providing administrative and communications support to the Fleet Centre Manager. Tasks include coordinating daily run-sheets and schedules, logging vehicle movements, deploying drivers and vehicles, allocating vehicles to customers, refuelling, moving of vehicles, assisting with rosters and scheduling, managing volunteer breaks, and other administrative tasks as required. Strong leadership skills and a flexible, personable approach are required to ensure the success of Fleet Centre Operations.

Required Attributes and Experience           

Strong leadership skills, including previous supervisor experience; Computer literate and strong administrative skills; Strong geographic knowledge of Host City; Strong initiative and problem solving skills; Being at least 25 years of age and holding a full (not probationary or restricted) driver’s license would be advantageous; Meets ICC CWC 2015 values (Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork, Inclusion, Adaptability); Positive and 'team focused' attitude; Strong communication skills; Approachable, personable and friendly; Willingness to go the extra mile; Be an outstanding ambassador for your Host City and ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

Requirements and Time Commitments To be considered for the role of Fleet Centre Supervisor, you must:          

New Zealand applicants – be at least 17 years old at the time of application; Australian applicants – be at least 18 years old at the time of application; Have read and consent to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Volunteer Program Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy; Consent to undertake and successfully complete Security Background Check(s); Be available to volunteer throughout the Tournament as required (As a guide, some roles will require match day availability only; others require volunteers to work 6-10 shifts throughout the Tournament including match days. Match days can be viewed on the full Match Schedule); Be available for warm up matches if you have selected Adelaide, Christchurch, Melbourne or Sydney as your Host City. (Warm up matches will commence from 07 February, 2015); Have confirmed accommodation and the ability to get to/from venues in your Host City; Be available to attend a volunteer interview in your selected Host City (time/dates will be confirmed closer to the time); Agree to complete scheduled training commitments (time/dates will be confirmed closer to the time); Be able to commit to attending uniform and accreditation collection in early 2015 in your Host City.
