Objective of the project:
To assist the Ministry of Budget and National Planning (MBNP) and the EU Delegation to Nigeria in the formulation of a Rule of Law programme, with focus on criminal justice reform and anti-corruption, under the 11th EDF National Indicative Programme for Nigeria 2014-2020. Qualifications and skills: At least a Master’s Degree (academic level) in Law, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration or directly related discipline, or equivalent; Full working knowledge of English, as well as excellent report writing and communication skills.

Nigeria
General professional experience : 12 years' professional experience in the justice system (laws, police, courts prisons); At least 3 missions leading project design in Justice Sector reform, or anticorruption; Experience with EDF procedures. Preferred professional experience : At least 5 years' experience of capacity development and/or technical assistance in criminal justice and/anti-corruption reform programmes and institutional development activities; Experience and good knowledge of the functioning of the law enforcement agencies, particularly police services and criminal investigations and forensic services; Experience in tools/methods/approach to promote human rights based approach and gender sensitive programming and implementation; Experience in the formulation of EDF projects.
