You’ve already completed the BEGINNING class, now let’s learn more! In this class you’ll learn more advanced designs! We’ll walk through each design step by step and you’ll create a wonderful reference you’ll be using for years to come! (You’ll learn 14-16 new quilting designs.) LET’S HAVE FUN! Supplies: Sewing machine in good working order - with power and foot pedal cords. Free motion quilting foot Quilting Gloves – if you use them Supreme Slider – if you have one Regular sewing tools 4 – Fat Quarters - solid color fabric (This will make 2 quilting sandwiches.) Batting – cotton Quilting Thread – 40 or 50 wt (I love Aurifil!) - your favorite color (one that will show well on your fabric) 4 clear page protectors ½ deep 3-ring binder Directions to complete before class: Press your fabric. On ONE fat quarter draw a grid by: 1. Divide into 4ths by drawing a line down the middle of the length and width. 2. You will have 4 sections now. 3. Divide each of the 4 sections into 4ths by drawing a line down the middle of the length and width. 4. You will now have 16 sections. Now, sandwich this and another fat quarter using cotton batting, and pin or spray baste layers together. (Or you can use your favorite batting!) The other 2 fat quarters you need to have sandwiched in the same manner and with the same batting as the first sandwich and ready to quilt. (This will be your practice piece.)
