2016-2017 Freedom Elementary Yearbook Order forms for the 2016-17 Freedom Yearbook have been sent home with your child. The cost for the yearbook is now $15.00 but will increase to $20.00 in January. Personalization is an additional $5.00. You may send cash or checks payable to Freedom PTA. A receipt will be sent home with your child after payment is received. To order online, please visit: www.jostens.com There are more yearbook add-on accessories available online. We will not have school November 23 through November 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. School will resume Monday, November 28.

The Freedom Student Council will continue to collect canned food items until Tuesday, November 15. The class with the most food collected (# of items) and the class with the most creative display will be awarded a treat from the Student Council.
Get out your best chili recipes! We will have a Chili Cook Off on November 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with a drive-in movie theme. 50 slots are available. No wild game will be allowed. Please note, a list of ingredients to include seasonings for allergy purposes, needs to be displayed. Entry forms are available in the school office. During the Chili Cook Off, PTA will be sponsoring a coat drive. We will be accepting new or slightly used coats. Please be sure used coats have been washed. Gloves and hats will also be gladly accepted! Please note the bowling field trip for students that sold enough items for the PTA fundraiser will be November 22 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. PTA is always looking for new members. Only $6.00 per membership.
