SIX THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING YOUR CABINETS 1 COLOR Adding color to your cabinetry can bring your entire room to life. Colors can range from light amber to a rich merlot to a deep java, each of which gives your cabinetry a unique look and personality. Carefully consider your color choice to ensure that it matches the overall feel that you want for your room.

G LA ZES O R ACCEN T S Depending on the style of the cabinetry, we offer two different glaze options as part of the finishing process. Traditional glaze is used on select full overlay door styles. For this option, we use the standard finishing process, then apply glaze by hand to the front of the doors and drawers creating hang up in the corner areas and in profiled recesses.
Sable with Ebony Glaze
An accent glaze is used on select partial overlay door styles. The door is finished, then the sealer and topcoat applied, followed by the hand applied accent glaze to the doors and drawer fronts.

3 WOOD TYPE MA PL E Maple is versatile and takes color quite well, making it a very popular choice. It has a fine uniform grain and, overall, is a very consistent wood type.
CHERRY Cherry has a fine-to-medium grain and is moderately hard and heavy. While it often has a deep color, it can vary depending upon your choice of stain.
OA K Oak is a heavy, hard wood, that has a coarse, noticeable grain. It provides dramatic lines that can play quite differently depending on the finish color chosen.
4 OVERLAY F UL L OV E R L AY Overlay is the amount of the face frame covered by the cabinet door. A full overlay draws attention to the door and drawer design, creating a more seamless look.
PA RTI A L OV ER LAY A partial overlay usually reveals about one inch of face frame around the door. A partial overlay creates an attractive, traditional look that complements a variety of room designs. Partial overlays usually cost less than full overlays.
7
5 VENEER OR SOLID VENEER A veneer is a thin piece of wood which is attached with glue to a supporting board. Veneered components are more uniform in finish and grain, and commonly used as the material for the center panel of a door.
SOL I D A door with a solid wood center panel is comprised of boards that are joined or glued together to form the width of the center panel. Because natural woods have variations in color and grain pattern from board to board, these variations will be apparent in a solid wood door.
6 DRAWER FRONT
SOLID DRAWER FRON T The traditional, yet stylish look of a solid drawer front complements a wide range of designs. This simple design allows you to get creative with a variety of wood grain and color selections.
3 -PI E C E S O LI D W O O D D R AW ER FRO N T The 3-piece drawer front is a versatile drawer style that fits both traditional and contemporary settings. Complemented by straight lines and right angles, this drawer design is an attractive upgrade to the standard solid drawer front.
5 - P IECE D R AW ER FRONT 5-piece drawer fronts are constructed in similar fashion to doors, having a frame and center panel. 5-piece drawer fronts are more expensive because they require added craftmanship and provide design details that mirror the style of the door, adding value to the overall style of the cabinetry.
