The hot standby backup server is located in a separate data center. The service is designed to function even in the event of a server, database or data center failure. The service is based on IP-VPN connectivity and is delivered over our MPLS-based, purposebuilt, dedicated core network, which is physically separate from our public Internet backbone. You gain the flexible connectivity and scalability of an IP-based service combined with the security, privacy and quality of Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and Frame Relay services.
