June 14, 2014 Dear Prospective FC Fusion Family, Welcome to the FC Fusion tryouts! We are glad to have you and your son or daughter here today. Inside this packet, you will find details and forms to fill out if your child makes a team and chooses to play for the 2014-2015 season with us. You may also download our forms at www.fc-fusion.com We offer a competitive program at a great price, including: • • • • •
Outdoor games in fall and spring* Michigan Youth Soccer League play, typically in southeastern lower Michigan Screened coaches, with various levels of certification Coerver Michigan training clinics: Fall, Winter, and Spring Indoor play in at least one session
We are a volunteer-run, 501c3 status club. We strive to grow our organization and be a positive force in the lives of our atheletes, their families, and the community. Our board meetings typically occur on the second Tuesday of the month at varying locations. They are open to all parents or guardians of team members. We hope to have you join us. Our tryout schedule is as follows: June 14th and 15th at the Brandon Soccer Fields, 1414 Hadley Road U8-U10 10:00am – 11:30am and U11- High School 12:00pm – 1:30pm We strongly encourage your athelete to attend both days. Volunteer Positions Available
FC Fusion needs volunteers for the following duties-
CoachesWe have opening(s) for coaches and/or assistant coaches. All our coaching positions are on a volunteer basis. As we grow our organization we will be looking for motivated individuals interested in taking on a coaching position, experience is helpful but not required. As a coach you will receive the benefit of paid training and membership fees covered by the organization.
Team ManagerWe will need people to fill the positions of manager as we add new teams to the club. As team manager you would assist the coach in communicating with the team in areas of game scheduling, game reminders, field maps, etc.
Fundraising SupportWe would like to have a list of volunteers we can call on to help/assist with our future fundraising efforts.
