Class Supply List for:
GARDEN PARTY
Teacher: Elayne Project Picture & Descriptions: Machine Applique Pattern: Garden Party, due to copyright laws each student must have their own copy of the pattern. Fabric Requirements: 4 yards single color background OR 2/3 yard each of 6 different fabrics 2 1/4 yards wide back for quilt backing (we will be assembling this in a quilt-as-you-go manner). This fabric becomes your back, sashing and binding. Applique colors—variety about 3 yards—I used a 42 square layer cake and 6” strips of 18 other colors.
Other Project Supplies: Twin Batting 5/8 yard red dot tracing paper 8+ yards Heat n Bond lite or Steam a Seam 2 Thread in a variety of colors that coordinate and contrast with your project. Bring a stapler, sharp scissor (I used both a small and a large scissors.)
Paper clips Sewing or Embroidery Supplies: You will NOT need your sewing machine or thread at the first class. Machine: Bring a machine, in good working order, that you know how to use. Be sure to bring the appropriate feet, bobbins, & needles. (Bring your manual if you are not comfortable with the features of your machine.) Cancellation & Bad Weather Policy: Payment reserves your seat in class. If you need to cancel, a full refund will be given if you cancel 1 week before class or sooner. If a class is cancelled for bad weather it will be rescheduled.
