Get Started with Sketchpad®!  The Geometer’s Sketchpad® is a powerful  tool that’s fun and effective for exploring  math concepts from elementary through  calculus. Increase engagement and  understanding with tangible, visible math.  Here are some suggestions on how to get  started using Sketchpad:    1.  Purchase Sketchpad or download the free trial  version at: www.keycurriculum.com/sketchpad.    2.  Watch Movies:   Movies can be accessed from Sketchpad by selecting Help | Welcome Videos.   Watch Sketchpad Snapshots to get an overview of how teachers and students use Sketchpad.   Watch The Big Picture to get an overview of the basic functionality of Sketchpad.    3.  Work through Tutorials and Sketchpad Tips in the Learning Center:   Work through tutorials accessed from Sketchpad by selecting Help | Using Sketchpad | Getting  Started Tutorials.   Work through Sketchpad Tips on Sketchpad’s tool and menu commands by selecting Help |  Using Sketchpad | Sketchpad Tips.   Access Sketchpad resources online at: www.keycurriculum.com/sketchpad/resources.    4.  Browse Classroom Videos and Sample Activities in the Learning Center:   Watch students and teachers using Sketchpad by selecting Help | Teaching with Sketchpad.   Check out ready‐to‐use classroom activities which include student worksheets, teacher activity  notes, and sketches by selecting Help | Teaching with Sketchpad | Sample Activities.     Work through grade‐specific activities to develop skills you can use with your students.     Sketchpad Activity Modules covering math from grade 3 to Calculus are also available for  purchase at: www.keycurriculum.com/sketchpad‐activity‐modules.    5.  View Webinars:  Register for an upcoming webinar, or watch an archived webinar at:  www.keycurriculum.com/webinars.    6.  Take an Online Course:  Register for a six‐week moderated online course at: www.keycurriculum.com/online‐courses.
