While the ball is on our team’s defensive half the attack will set up around the offensive restraining line. o This pulls the defense away from the midfield to prevent the defense from playing a missed pass to prevent an over-and-back call as well as puts our team in position to set up quickly for a fast break. When setting up in a triangle the center “point” attack sets up a few yards above the restraining line with the two wing attack setting up a few yards below the restraining line. As the ball is pushed up field the attack will shift into the “L” shape of our Fast break with the “point” attack moving to the opposite side of the ball and the wing attack falling back to be in line with the top of the crease o When we are (3) offensively we make an “L” Shape / when we are (4) offensively we make a “Box” shape. The ball carrier will look to attack the cage by running directly at the cage as they cross the midfield line. o On a fast break the ball carrier thinks “pass” first and “shoot” second. o Pass the ball to where the slide comes from  This includes should the point defender look to play the ball twice, the pass should always go towards the location of the slide.
