Supporting the Future of Nutrition Science
Giving to ASN
American Society for Nutrition Excellence in Nutrition Research and Practice www.nutrition.org
Please contact me regarding: A supporting member gift to ASN Your gifts to the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) support the future of nutrition science. Membership dues account for only ten percent of the total amount needed to run ASN’s important programs in publications, science and public affairs, and education and professional development. Your contributions help the Society build upon efforts that directly impact nutrition in research and in practice. Partner with ASN to reach students, support research or make a difference in another of ASN’s targeted programs. Student and young investigator programs include mentoring and other unique experiences for minority students, emerging leaders and young investigators. Research programs include travel awards, scholarships, and small research grants. Supporting Members are ASN members that give above and beyond their annual dues. We greatly appreciate gifts of any size. Donors are recognized on the ASN website, in the ASN annual report, and by the Executive Board. We will provide additional recognition for leadership gifts and for donors making gifts in consecutive years. Contributions to ASN, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. A formal recognition will be sent to you via U.S. postal mail. ASN welcomes support from individuals as well as industry companies, institutions, and foundations.
